For my profile story, I wanted to talk with Elizabeth Spencer. She is a professor in the English Department. Every year, she tries to take students on a Fantasy Fiction in the UK trip. She has been doing it for around 7 years. Each year, Ole Miss partners with St. Cloud State University to stay at Alnwick castle. I really want to do my profile piece surrounding her because of the trips that she takes with students. She talks about moments where she has watched students cry getting to see some of the sights that they have always wanted to see. She has talked about getting to travel to some of her favorite places and work at the same time. She has stories of past students and past experiences that have shaped the program into what it is. I know that I am slightly close to the situation, but we have finished classes for the semester in that class because we have met all of our contact hours. We are only turning in a final project, so I do not sit in her class every week. I really think that she would make a great profile.
